Faye is very popular at school. She is only ten months older than her brother and they are both in the same year at school. Faye hates being mistaken for his twin.
She looks down on her poorer cousins’ situation, used to a large house.

Faye struggles to tell her twin cousins apart, which makes sharing a room with them very stressful, as the younger girls often stitch places to annoy her.

The twins are identical in every way, and even they aren’t sure who is who. They like to confuse everyone with who they are by switching places and clothing during the day. The only person they can’t fool is their brother Ben.
Amber and Rosie both like causing mischief, like switching the sugar and salt, moving the TV remotes, and hiding half of Ben's socks.
They are sometimes called Fred, after their grandfather, rather than their parents calling them the same name.
