Episode 1: Abdication
Finn always knew he would be king one day, but his father was fit and well, so he thought he had longer—long enough for Dax to finish university and maybe tick a few countries off his optimistic global bucket list. But the king couldn't wait until a day after Finn's graduation to hand the burden of a dying monarchy to his eldest child.
Finn is only twenty-five but determined to save the monarchy without sacrificing his true love with Dax. But is Dax ready to give up everything and go with him?
Episode 2: Coronation
Finn gets his moment to sit on the throne as he is crowned king. It finally feels real as his father and all the government officials have to kneel before him. But one person is missing. The only person he needs to see on his knees more than anyone else in the entire country.
Dax thought he could stand by Finn’s side during his coronation as king, but in the end, he can only watch from the side. It isn't how he wanted to be introduced to the world as Finn's partner. A cheeky photo and begging for forgiveness bring the pair closer as Dax commits to his new king in his own way. And Finn wouldn’t want it any other way.
Episode 3: Recreation
Taking a holiday with the family was supposed to be a break for the family after Finn's coronation. But when sibling rivalry gets out of hand, Dax breaks more than he expected.
The lure of the beautiful coastal castle and the grand master bedroom loses its appeal, and friction builds in the family. Not even the lure of a puppy can keep Dax there. And, of course, Finn is right there with him.
Episode 4: Democracy
Finn’s first meeting with the Prime Minister goes far better than Finn could hope for. While Dax’s plans to modernise the palace don’t go down well with all the staff, leaving him with some enemies. He may be wheelchair-bound for the time being, but he isn’t going to let anything slow him down. With his studies a thing of the past, he needs this more than anyone realises.
Episode 5: Family
Finn sits down with each of his family members to introduce the first of his big changes, and his news certainly goes down better with some than others. Finn gives them an ultimatum: They either work with him or against him to save the monarchy. Dax struggles to adjust to his new role and very public lifestyle from the confines of his wheelchair.
Episode 6: Bankruptcy
Finn's changes to the monarchy haven't earned him any allies, but with the threat of bankruptcy, more drastic measures are required. Dax has the perfect idea of combining the vacant rooms with small businesses, but the kingdom needs a large cash injection quickly. Help is at hand in the form of Dax's ageing grandfather.
Episode 7: Wedding
With the general election approaching, Finn acts on the Prime Minister's warning to wed Dax while he still has the man's blessing. The leader of the opposition would not be so willing to allow the marriage, and the poles are swinging in his favour. Walking Dax down the aisle is not the grand spectacle he wanted it to be, but at least he can make it happen. All Dax wants is to walk down the aisle without his wheelchair.

Dax's birthday arrives, and he gets more than he bargained for. Finn has arranged the most amazing present for him in every way.
When his grandmother's trust fund matures, he isn't expecting quite the amount on the paper. Investments have flourished since his older sister's bond matured on her twenty-first. Dax's new position and wealth draws his family from the woodwork.

The whole country waits for the results of the election. The current Prime Minister offers his continued support to the monarchy, but he is running against Mr Bellemy, who promises radical change and modernisation for the country. Everyone's future hangs in the balance of this election.

When the first of the palace belongings go to auction, everyone crosses their fingers that they can fund the stairlift for Dax from the proceeds. But no one knows how popular the autographed books are going to be. Nerves are high as the backstabbing begins.
